SG GRC appoints Director – Risk & Protective Services (GCC)
SG GRC welcomes Gemma Ansell to the team as Director - Risk & Protective Services (GCC)
With over 20 years of expertise across the United Kingdom and the UAE, Gemma has extensive experience in spearheading major initiatives in security management, policing, and working with government bodies and law enforcement agencies. Skilled in event management, executive protection and VVIP management, Gemma has always worked closely with protocol teams, law enforcement and state security agencies. David Sumner, Chairman of SG GRC commented:

In the UK, Gemma served for 14 years as a commended management-level Detective in the British Police, leading investigations of serious, organised and fiscal crimes. She had a distinguished career across several disciplines - Firearms, CBRN, Riot & Public Order, Management of Serious Crime, and Investigation. Gemma moved to the UAE as a Serious Crime Expert and Tactical Advisor to Abu Dhabi Police CID, working on many Sheik-sponsored projects and spearheading their programme to recruit and develop female detectives. Most recently Gemma worked at the British Embassy in Dubai as the Post Security Manager, Head of Security for the large British Diplomatic Mission.
